At Revive Christian Fellowship, our beliefs are rooted in the unchanging truth of God’s Word and centered on Jesus Christ. We strive to live out the gospel with love, grace, and humility, reflecting His truth in our lives and relationships. Below is a summary of our core beliefs:
God
There is one eternally existing God who has three distinct persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. He is the creator of all that exists, both visible and invisible, and is therefore worthy of all glory and praise. God is perfect in love, power, holiness, goodness, knowledge, wisdom, justice, and mercy. He is unchangeable and therefore is the same yesterday, today, and tomorrow.
Jesus Christ
We believe that Jesus Christ is fully God and fully man. He was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, died on the cross for our sins, and rose again, conquering sin and death. He is the only way to salvation (John 14:6).
The Holy Spirit
We believe the Holy Spirit empowers and equips believers for service, convicts the world of sin, and guides us into all truth. The gifts of the Spirit are active today and are to be exercised in decency and order (John 14:26; 1 Corinthians 12-14).
The Bible
We believe the Bible is the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God. It is our ultimate guide for faith and practice (2 Timothy 3:16-17).
Salvation
Jesus Christ came to reconcile us with God. He lived a life without sin and willingly died on the cross to pay the penalty for our transgressions. God raised him from the dead and now, by grace, offers as a free gift eternal life to all who follow Christ, by faith, as their Lord and Savior (Ephesians 2:8-9). That is why salvation can be found in Christ alone.
The Church
We believe the Church is the body of Christ, made up of all believers, called to worship God, build up one another, and share the gospel with the world (Acts 2:42; Ephesians 4:11-13).
The Return of Christ
We believe in the literal, personal, and imminent return of Jesus Christ for His Church and His future reign on earth (1 Thessalonians 4:16-17; Revelation 20:4-6).
At Revive Christian Fellowship, we are committed to teaching the Word of God verse by verse, equipping believers to walk faithfully with Christ, and reaching our community and the world with the Love of Christ.
